L&T Semiconductor unveils 40 products, first SiC platform
L&T Semiconductor showed 40 new semiconductor products in India.
Semiconductors are tiny electronic parts used in many machines and devices.
One new product is a powerful Silicon Carbide platform for improving energy conversion.
It could be used in electric-vehicle chargers, microgrids and other equipment.
The company also completed the design of a motor controller made entirely in India.
This controller could help make ceiling fans use less electricity.
Other products support cameras, secure identity systems, payments and smart meters.
L&T Semiconductor also plans to work with Tata Electronics on making chips in India.
The company says these efforts can strengthen India’s semiconductor and digital technology capabilities.
LTSCT unveiled 40 semiconductor products at SEMICON India 2026.
The portfolio includes its first 1200V Silicon Carbide MOSFET platform.
The SiC platform targets EV chargers, microgrids, transformers and traction inverters.
LTSCT also taped out a fully India-designed BLDC motor controller.
