The company announced seven partnerships and expects to sign nine more.

The partners will help with making chips, packaging them, producing materials and training workers.

Some work will happen in Dholera, Gujarat, and some in Jagiroad, Assam.

Fujifilm plans to invest about Rs 800 crore in a materials plant in Dholera.

Tata Electronics is investing $3 billion in its Jagiroad packaging facility.

The company says its projects are progressing and have created more than 150,000 direct jobs.
