Six Held in Three Delhi Gambling and Satta Cases
Delhi Police detained six people in three separate cases involving alleged illegal gambling and betting.
The operations took place in parts of Delhi’s North-East district.
Police said two men were found with playing cards in Nand Nagri.
Two others were allegedly gambling under a flyover in Gokalpuri.
In Kabir Nagar, two men were allegedly carrying betting slips and money.
Police recovered a total of Rs 4,510.
They also seized cards, slips and other gambling materials.
Cases were registered under sections of the Delhi Gambling Act.
Police said none of the six had previous criminal involvement or was listed as a bad character.
North-East District Police apprehended six people in three alleged gambling and satta cases.
Police teams from Nand Nagri, Gokalpuri and Welcome police stations conducted the operations.
Authorities recovered Rs 4,510, playing cards, betting slips and other gambling material.
Two men were detained in Nand Nagri and two in Gokalpuri on September 11.
Two more men were apprehended near Pahalwan Building in Kabir Nagar in the third case.
