Operation Chakra Brings 193 Arrests in North Delhi Crackdown
Delhi Police carried out a special 72-hour operation called Operation Chakra.
It took place from August 24 to 27 in North Delhi.
Police checked, patrolled and searched different areas.
They were looking for illegal alcohol, drugs, weapons and gambling.
In total, 193 people were arrested and 154 cases were registered.
Police seized more than 10,000 bottles of illicit liquor.
They also recovered drugs, knives, pistols, ammunition and gambling money.
Four stolen two-wheelers were recovered as well.
Officials said further action was underway.

Police arrested 63 people under the Excise Act and seized 10,122 liquor bottles and a car.
NDPS cases resulted in 21 arrests, while police recovered ganja, heroin, charas, buprenorphine tablets and Avil injections.
Police also arrested 22 people under the Arms Act, 87 in gambling cases and recovered four stolen two-wheelers.
