The devices were concealed in bushes along the Shangkhalok-Pilong route, and teams used sniffer dogs and electronic detection equipment.
Security forces arrested three militants linked to the banned Kangleipak Communist Party and People's Revolutionary Party of Kangleipak in separate operations in Imphal East.
A suspected drug peddler, identified as Ngamkhojang Kipgen, was arrested with 785 grams of alleged brown sugar concealed in 60 soap cases.
A joint search near the Waishen River recovered firearms, ammunition and three wireless communication sets.
