Interstate Cab Thief Arrested, Three Stolen Vehicles Recovered
A man named Pendyala Sudarshan tricked taxi drivers so he could steal their cars.
He pretended to be a passenger who wanted to hire a cab for a long trip.
During the ride, he would ask the driver to stop at a quiet place for a break or food.
When the driver got out of the car, Sudarshan would drive away with it.
Police in Siddipet, India, started investigating after a cab driver complained about his stolen car.
They used security camera footage and technical evidence to find and arrest Sudarshan.
The police recovered three stolen vehicles worth about 10 lakh rupees.
These included a Swift Dzire car, a Toyota Etios, and a Royal Enfield Hunter motorcycle.
Sudarshan was taken to court and sent to jail while the case continues.
