Stolen Maruti Omni Reappears in Tamil Nadu as Ambulance
A Maruti Omni was stolen near Puttur in Karnataka on June 19.
Police followed its trail through Kerala and into Tamil Nadu.
The vehicle was allegedly sold after crossing state borders.
Someone changed it into an ambulance.
This made the car look very different from an ordinary private vehicle.
Police eventually found the ambulance and identified it as the stolen Omni.
Four men from Kerala and Tamil Nadu were arrested in connection with the case.
They were sent to judicial custody while the investigation continued.
