Gwalior Police Fine Viral Lipstick-Covered Car After Social Media Stunt
A man in Gwalior decorated his Swift car with thousands of lipstick kiss marks.
He said a female friend made about 3,400 marks on the car.
The work took around three and a half hours and used lipstick costing about Rs 800-900.
They posted a video of the car online because they hoped it would become popular.
The video received millions of views.
Police saw the video and traced the car to the Thatipur area.
They fined the owner Rs 5,500 under traffic laws.
Police also made him clean all the lipstick off the car.
The owner said he did not know the stunt could violate the law and promised not to repeat it.

Police traced the car to Thatipur after it was allegedly seen moving quickly near the Patel Nagar-City Center area.
Owner Aditya Sikarwar was fined approximately Rs 5,500 under provisions of the Motor Vehicles Act.
Police ordered Sikarwar to remove the lipstick marks, which he cleaned off at the traffic police station.
Sikarwar said a female friend created the marks in about three-and-a-half hours to follow a social-media trend.
