Delhi to issue Smart Property Cards in 48 Lal Dora villages

The Delhi government is going to give out special digital property cards called Smart Property Cards to people living in 48 Lal Dora villages.

These cards will help people know exactly who owns which property.

The government is doing this because for a long time, people in these villages have had trouble because there were no proper records of who owns what.

The government has already finished surveying 30 of these villages and is working on the rest.

This is part of a bigger plan called the SVAMITVA scheme, which is run by the central government.

Lal Dora areas are special zones in villages that have different rules for building and developing properties.
