Maharashtra Cabinet clears Pandharpur policy, Jayakwadi funds, cycling bid

The government of Maharashtra, led by Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, met in Mumbai and approved many new projects.

First, they made a plan to help people affected by building work in Pandharpur, which is a famous temple town.

They also set aside lots of money to expand a big irrigation project called Jayakwadi so farms can get more water.

The government said it will support Pune's dream of hosting a giant bicycle race called the UCI Road World Championships in 2032.

This big race could bring around Rs 330 crore of business to the area.

The Cabinet also made new rules for mining small minerals and said trucks bringing minerals from other states must have permits.

This is to stop people from digging or carrying minerals illegally.

Money was also given for sports complexes, schools, and a centre to help tribal communities.

All these decisions show how the state government works on many different things at the same time.
