Beed's Yashwantrao Chavan Auditorium Gets ₹4.91 Crore Renovation
The Maharashtra government has decided to fix up a big theatre in Beed called the Yashwantrao Chavan Auditorium.
The theatre had become old and broken, so plays and cultural events could not happen properly.
The stage, chairs, lights, wires, and even the safety of the building were causing worry.
Two local leaders, Sachin Muluk and Yogesh Bhagwat, worked hard for three years to get help.
They asked the state government for money to repair the theatre.
On July 27, 2026, the government approved ₹4.91 crore for the renovation.
That is almost five crore rupees, a very large amount.
Soon, workers will start repairing the stage, seats, electrical systems, and the building itself.
When finished, local artists and theatre groups in Beed will have a modern and safe place to perform.

The Government Resolution approving the funds was issued on July 27, 2026.
