Nissan India August Wholesales Slip 2% Despite Domestic Surge
Nissan Motor India sold 9,350 units in total during August.
This was slightly less than the 9,541 units sold in August last year.
The company sold 3,426 units in its domestic market.
That was a large increase from the 1,384 units sold domestically a year earlier.
It also exported 5,924 units.
Strong interest in the Magnite, Gravite and Nissan Tekton helped domestic sales grow.
Nissan said it plans to expand Tekton in domestic and international markets.
The company also wants to improve customer experience and achieve sustainable growth.

Domestic wholesales rose 147.5% to 3,426 units from 1,384 units a year earlier.
Exports totaled 5,924 units during August.
The company attributed domestic growth to demand for the Magnite, Gravite and all-new Nissan Tekton.
