Chhattisgarh police bust inter-state arms gang, arrest four

Police officers working in the state of Chhattisgarh, India, stopped a white car late at night because it looked suspicious.

The car did not have a proper number plate, and four men were sitting inside it.

When the officers searched the car, they found a small homemade gun, three bullets, a bag with a lot of cash, and four mobile phones.

The four men said they were planning to buy ganja, an illegal drug, from a town called Balangir in Odisha.

They were carrying the gun because they wanted to be ready to fight back if police or other people tried to stop them.

The police arrested all four men and took away the car, the gun, the cash, and the phones.

The men came from two different states, Madhya Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh.

The police said their quick and careful work stopped a serious crime from happening.

Now the four men will have to face the court, because carrying guns and planning to buy drugs are against the law.
