Haryana Adds Delhi-Panipat-Karnal RRTS Corridor to TOD Policy
Haryana has added a planned fast train route to its development policy.
The route will connect Delhi with Sonipat, Panipat and Karnal.
It will be about 136 kilometres long.
The train line will have stations in several towns and cities.
Some additional stations may be built in the future.
The policy allows authorities to plan better roads, buildings and businesses around stations.

Haryana has included the 136.30-kilometre Delhi-Panipat-Karnal Namo Bharat RRTS corridor under its Transit Oriented Development Policy.
The corridor will connect Delhi with Narela, Kundli, Sonipat, Panipat and Karnal along National Highway 44.
The project is estimated to cost between ₹33,000 crore and ₹34,740 crore, with Haryana contributing its approved share in phases.
Planned stations include locations in Karnal, Panipat and Sonipat, while several others have been designated as future stations.
The state’s September 22 notification formally added the corridor to the TOD Policy’s list of eligible mass rapid transit corridors.
