Haryana Plans Five Singapore-Modeled Greenfield Cities Near Delhi
Haryana plans to build five new cities near Delhi.
The project is called the Panchgram Project.
The cities will be built near the KMP Expressway.
They are meant to help with crowding and traffic in the Delhi-NCR region.
Planners want modern drains, underground pipes and better waste services.
The cities are also expected to have trees, open spaces and organized neighborhoods.
Future metro and high-speed train links may connect them to Delhi and nearby areas.
Haryana also plans to build 10 new industrial townships by 2030.
Haryana has revived the Panchgram Project to create five greenfield cities near Delhi.
The cities will span nearly 2.5 lakh hectares along both sides of the KMP Expressway.
Plans include smart drainage, underground utilities, waste management, greenery and public spaces.
Future connectivity may include metro extensions, Namo Bharat links and the KMP Expressway.
Haryana also aims to develop 10 new Industrial Model Townships by 2030.
