India envoy Dinesh Trivedi meets PM Modi after Dhaka talks

India and Bangladesh are two neighboring countries that want to be good friends.

Dinesh Trivedi is India's most important helper in Bangladesh.

He visited Bangladesh's capital city, Dhaka, and talked to its leaders.

He met Bangladesh's Prime Minister, Tarique Rahman, and two other important leaders.

Then he flew back to India's capital, New Delhi, to talk to India's Prime Minister, Narendra Modi.

Trivedi asked Modi for ideas on how to make the friendship between the two countries even stronger.

India said it wants to work with Bangladesh in a friendly, positive way.

The leaders also talked about keeping people safe together, which is called security cooperation.

There was also talk about a former Bangladesh leader, Sheikh Hasina, and some hard feelings between the two countries.

Both countries want to keep talking and build a strong relationship together.
