One necklace has seven layers and many pearls and emeralds.

Radha’s crown is also very heavy.

The jewellery stays in a bank locker for most of the year to keep it safe.

Police and officials protect it when it is taken to the temple.

After the celebration, it is returned to the locker until the next Janmashtami.
