Mumbai GSB Seva Mandal Announces Rs 703.27 Crore Ganeshotsav Cover
The GSB Seva Mandal is preparing a large Ganesh festival in Mumbai.
The festival will last for five days in September 2026.
The Ganpati idol will be decorated with more than 66 kilograms of gold and 335 kilograms of silver.
Devotees have donated these ornaments and precious stones.
The group has taken insurance worth Rs 703.27 crore for the celebrations.
It will use an eco-friendly idol and digital receipts to reduce paper waste.
Many people are expected to perform prayers and services during the festival.
Food will be served to more than 40,000 people each day.
The Mandal expects more than two lakh people to join the feast.
GSB Seva Mandal has secured Rs 703.27 crore in insurance coverage for its five-day 2026 Ganeshotsav.
The MahaGanapati idol will feature over 66 kg of gold, 335 kg of silver and donated precious gemstones.
The celebrations will take place from September 14 to September 18 at King’s Circle in Matunga East.
The Mandal expects more than one lakh poojas and sevas, with over two lakh devotees expected for its five-day feast.
