Sunday Special Train to Link Tirupati and Vijayapura
A railway authority is starting a special train between Tirupati and Vijayapura.
It will run on Sundays during October.
The train will make four trips in each direction during the announced period.
It will leave Tirupati in the morning and reach Vijayapura at night.
The return train will leave Vijayapura late on Sunday and arrive in Tirupati on Monday afternoon.
It will stop at many towns along the route, including Guntakal, Ballari, Hospet, Gadag and Bagalkot.
The train is meant to give people more travel choices during the festive season.
It will have air-conditioned, sleeper, general and luggage coaches.
South Coast Railway will operate a Sunday special train between Tirupati and Vijayapura during October.
The Tirupati–Vijayapura service will run every Sunday from October 4 to October 25, making four trips.
Train 07419 will depart Tirupati at 8:15 a.m. and arrive in Vijayapura at 10:25 p.m. the same day.
The return service, Train 07420, will leave Vijayapura at 11:35 p.m. Sunday and reach Tirupati at 2:15 p.m. Monday.
The 11-coach train will include AC, sleeper, general-class and luggage-cum-seating coaches, with stops across Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka.
