South Central Railway Adds Special Trains Across Four States
South Central Railway is adding special trains for travelers during October and November 2026.
One train pair will connect Narasapur and Charlapalli.
Another will connect Podanur in Tamil Nadu with Barauni in Bihar.
Together, these trains will make 28 trips.
The trains will stop at many stations along their routes.
Passengers will be able to choose from air-conditioned, sleeper and general coaches.

South Central Railway will run 28 special-train trips between Narasapur–Charlapalli and Podanur–Barauni from October to November 2026.
The Narasapur–Charlapalli pair will operate 18 services, with nine trips in each direction between October 4 and November 30.
The Podanur–Barauni pair will operate 10 services, connecting Tamil Nadu and Bihar between October 4 and November 4.
Both services will include multiple classes, including air-conditioned, sleeper and general second-class coaches, with stops at major stations.
South Central Railway has increased drinking-water inspections and testing at Kazipet, Warangal and nearby railway colonies.
