Trump Confirms Secret Plane Switch Amid Iran Assassination Threat
Credible Missile Threat Behind Trump's Secret Aircraft Switch In Turkey: Report · NDTV

Donald Trump is the President of the United States.

In July, he went to a big meeting of world leaders in Turkey called a NATO summit.

The people whose job is to protect presidents learned that people connected to Iran might try to hurt him.

So they made a secret plan, and because the Secret Service is in charge of his safety, Trump did what they said.

First, he walked onto a big airplane where cameras could see him.

A few minutes later, he quietly climbed into a tall truck that usually carries food to airplanes, and the truck drove him to a smaller, plain airplane with no markings.

The big airplane flew away carrying news reporters and other officials, so everyone thought the President was still on board, but he was not.

Trump flew to England on the smaller airplane and landed safely.

He later told reporters that he gets a lot of threats and tries not to worry about them.

He even said the small plane he actually flew on might have been in more danger than the big one.

“It’s only up to the Secret Service. I just follow what they’d like to do, so I go by Secret Service and the military. They wanted me to go on a different flight, a different plane, equal safety, but they wanted me to do it, so I do it, I do what they say.”

“I think actually the plane that I flew on was at greater risk, I think it was at greater risk because that would be the plane I think that they would be more likely to go for.”
