Warangal Commissioner Orders Tighter Sanitation and Waste Management
Warangal’s municipal commissioner checked how well the city was being cleaned.
He visited parts of the 39th Division, including Janmabhoomi Junction.
He spoke with sanitation workers and residents about door-to-door garbage collection.
He told officials to separate wet garbage from dry garbage when it is collected.
He also asked them to teach residents why this separation is important.
Construction waste had been left beside a road, so he ordered it removed.
The building owner had already received a fine for breaking the rules.
The commissioner said sanitation work must be watched regularly so residents are not inconvenienced.
Greater Warangal Municipal Corporation Commissioner T. Venkanna ordered officials to maintain high cleanliness standards across the city.
Venkanna inspected sanitation work, staff attendance and waste collection in the 39th Division, including Janmabhoomi Junction.
Officials were directed to ensure wet and dry waste segregation at source and raise awareness among residents.
The Commissioner ordered immediate removal of construction and demolition debris dumped beside a road; the building owner had already been fined.
Venkanna also inspected sweeping machines near ASM College and called for continuous monitoring of sanitation services.
