Actress Aditi Sharma Files FIR Against Husband and In‑laws for Abuse
Aditi Sharma is a TV actress who says her husband and his family hurt her after they got married.
She says they beat her, yelled at her, and took her wedding jewellery.
She also says her husband stopped sleeping with her and checked her phone.
Aditi went to the police in Mumbai and filed a complaint.
The police are looking into the case but no one has been arrested yet.
Aditi Sharma filed an FIR against her husband Abhineet Vidyanand Kaushik and his mother and sister for domestic violence and abuse.
She alleges physical and mental harassment, assault, verbal abuse, and misuse of her bridal jewellery (stridhan).
The complaint says the abuse started within days of their November 12, 2024 wedding and escalated after a January 1, 2025 argument.
The FIR was registered at Goregaon Police Station in Mumbai on July 30/31, 2026 under sections 85, 316(2), 352, and 3(5) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita.
No arrests have been made and the case is still under investigation by Assistant Inspector Amita Marathe.
