Some Telugu farmers grew paddy in Odisha.

The Odisha government had initially refused to buy their crop.

This left about 50,000 farmers waiting for help.

Farmers from Pedapudi mandal asked MLA Nallamilli Ramakrishna Reddy to help.

He brought the problem to D. Purandeswari, the Rajamahendravaram Lok Sabha member.

Purandeswari spoke with Odisha ministers about the farmers’ concerns.

She said the Odisha government then agreed to buy the paddy.

She also said farmers should receive fair payment for their work.

Several Odisha officials were thanked for helping resolve the issue.
