Giant Vada Pav, Samosa Highlight World Vada Pav Day Celebration
A food shop in Mira-Bhayandar celebrated World Vada Pav Day in a special way.
The shop made a huge vada pav weighing 4 kilograms.
It also made a giant samosa weighing 2.5 kilograms.
Many people came to see and enjoy the unusual foods.
The shop gave customers a ₹10 discount on vada pavs.
Maharashtra Transport Minister Pratap Sarnaik visited and tasted the giant vada pav.
The organisers said they were trying to have it recognised as a world record.
They also said an earlier 2.7-kilogram vada pav had been recorded in the Limca Book of Records.
Divine Vada Pav Corner in Mira-Bhayandar prepared a 4-kg vada pav and 2.5-kg samosa.
The family-owned outlet organised the celebration in the Indralok area on World Vada Pav Day.
The oversized foods attracted large crowds of local residents.
The outlet offered Mira-Bhayandar residents a ₹10 discount on vada pavs.
