Mumbai Weather Update: Moderate Rain, Gusty Winds Continue; SpiceJet Issues Flight Advisory After Overnight Heavy Showers Affect Ops · freepressjournal.in

Mumbai is a big city in India, and on Tuesday it rained a lot.

The rain started on Monday night and continued into the morning.

People woke up to cloudy skies, rain, and strong winds.

The weather experts, called the India Meteorological Department, said it would stay cloudy with some light rain during the day.

They did not think there would be very heavy rain everywhere, but some places could get stronger showers.

The winds were blowing at about 40 to 50 kilometers per hour, sometimes even faster.

Because of the rain, an airline called SpiceJet told its passengers to check their flight status before going to the airport.

Flights coming to or leaving Mumbai could be delayed or changed.

Even with all the rain, the air in Mumbai was very clean, with a score of 36 out of 100 on the air quality scale, which is good for breathing.
