Two ministers opened new public facilities in Addanki.

The work cost a total of Rs 9.97 crore.

One project is an electricity substation that is expected to improve power supply.

The other is a permanent fire station building.

The fire station had been working from a temporary tin shed since 2013.

A new fire engine was also introduced.

The station serves six mandals and responds to emergencies.

Officials said it handled 94 incidents and rescued two people during 2026-27 so far.

The government also said it is spending Rs 125 crore to improve fire department facilities across the state.
