At Mumbai's Koliwada Cocktail Club, Drinks Come in Six Courses
Food Review: At This Mumbai Bar, Cocktails Come in Six Courses · freepressjournal.in

In Mumbai, there is a very secret bar called the Koliwada Cocktail Club.

It is hidden inside another restaurant, behind a bright red door in an old fishing village.

You can only visit if you book a spot ahead of time.

The owner, Vicky Singh, came up with a fun idea: a fancy dinner where every course is a drink instead of food.

There are six drinks, and each one comes with a small tasty snack.

The first drink tastes like sushi and is poured from a little teapot.

Another drink is like cold soup made from tomatoes, and the last one is like dessert with chocolate, rum and coffee.

Making the whole menu took nearly two years, and every glass is specially made just for the bar.

The whole adventure costs 8,500 rupees, so it is a special treat for grown-ups who love trying new tastes.

Quotes

Vicky Singh

Founder of Koliwada Cocktail Club, Mumbai

“"Each came with its own set of challenges. Since it's a flavor journey across six courses, every course has to outdo the one before it, while still leaving room for the next to raise the bar. Getting that progression right was probably the hardest part of the entire process."”

“"People should genuinely feel that it's not 'old wine, new bottle', but a one‑off experience they've never had before. I want them to leave amazed, satisfied, and with their curiosity answered."”
