Suriya Prefers Smaller Mumbai Home Over Chennai Bungalow
‘Almost like a holiday’: Suriya prefers his 1,700 sq ft Mumbai home over Chennai bungalow · indianexpress.com

Suriya is a very famous movie actor in India.

He and his wife, Jyotika, who is also an actor, used to live in a big, fancy house in a city called Chennai.

They moved with their two children, Diya and Dev, to another big city called Mumbai.

They moved during a time called the pandemic, when many people stayed home.

They moved so Jyotika could be closer to her parents and start acting in more movies again.

Suriya says he is happier in the smaller house in Mumbai, which is 1,700 square feet, than he was in the big house in Chennai.

He says living there feels almost like being on a holiday.

Suriya was talking about this while telling people about a new movie he is in, called Vishwanath & Sons.

His co-star Radhika Sarathkumar said Suriya loves living in Mumbai and does lots of things by himself, like making coffee.

She says he looks very happy and content in his new home.

Quotes

Radhika Sarathkumar

Co-star of Suriya in Vishwanath & Sons

“He loves it. Jyotika told me Suriya loves it (in Mumbai). He likes to come. First thing he does is, where’s my dhobi, where’s the guy with my ironing, where’s my shoes? He’ll go make coffee…he will do everything. I watched him when I went there. I feel he’s very content there.”
