Saxena Flags Off Inaugural Ladakh Bike Week 2026
Ladakh has started a new event called Ladakh Bike Week 2026.
Lieutenant Governor Vinai Kumar Saxena officially opened it.
The event celebrates motorcycles, adventure and Ladakh’s mountain landscapes.
Eleven professional riders will take part in a special motorcycle rally.
The rally will travel through parts of eastern Ladakh.
Another part of the event will take place at a basecamp in Chuchot near Leh.
Visitors can attend activities, workshops, demonstrations and exhibitions there.
A display in Leh Market will show 15 old and classic motorcycles.
Officials said the event should help local people and businesses while protecting Ladakh’s fragile environment.

The Himalayan Basecamp at Chuchot, Leh, will run from September 4 to 6 and is expected to attract about 5,500 visitors daily.
A vintage motorcycle showcase, featuring 15 classic motorcycles, will be held at Leh Market from September 1 to 7.
