Bharati Mukhi, a 26-year-old woman, died after a luxury car hit her in Hyderabad.

The crash happened on August 16 while she was crossing a road near the mall where she worked.

Police say the car may have been traveling too fast and being driven carelessly.

The driver was Sanjush, the son of MP Lingamaneni Ramesh.

Ramesh said Sanjush took Mukhi to a hospital right away.

He also said Sanjush reported the crash to police and is cooperating.

Police said tests for alcohol and drugs were negative.

The Aston Martin was taken for inspection.

Investigators are waiting for the vehicle inspector’s report before completing the case.
