Hyderabad Aston Martin Crash Tests Negative; MP Defends Son
Bharathi Mukhi, a 26-year-old worker, died after an Aston Martin hit her in Hyderabad.
Police identified 21-year-old Lingamaneni Sanjush as the driver.
The crash happened on August 16 near the Inorbit Mall, where Bharathi worked.
She had been returning from lunch with her colleague, Pooja Ashok Alone.
The FIR says the car was traveling at high speed and was driven rashly and negligently.
Police said Bharathi was taken to a hospital but was declared dead there.
Tests of Sanjush’s blood and urine found no drugs or alcohol.
His father said Sanjush helped take Bharathi to the hospital and reported the crash.
The investigation is continuing, and Sanjush has not been arrested.

Sanjush, 21, is accused of driving the Aston Martin that fatally struck 26-year-old Bharathi Mukhi on August 16.
The case was registered under Section 106(1) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, which carries a maximum five-year punishment.
Sanjush has not been arrested; police said the offense is bailable and carries a punishment of less than seven years.
The vehicle was seized, its Motor Vehicle Inspector inspection was completed, and the report is expected within three to four days.
