Four young people from Karnataka have reached the Top 40 of a national technology competition.

They are working on three different ideas.

One idea could help keep blood at the right temperature during emergency transfusions.

Another uses a smart shoe to study how people walk and identify possible health risks.

The third uses smartphone cameras and AI to record scores in sports such as kabaddi, wrestling and kho-kho.

The competition teaches young innovators how to improve their ideas with mentors and hands-on learning.

The Top 40 will attend a 10-day Innovation Bootcamp.
