Three Hyderabad Innovators Reach Samsung Solve for Tomorrow Top 40
Three young innovators from Hyderabad have reached the Top 40 of a national technology competition.
Two of them work together as Team Mistify.
Their invention, Hydryft, collects water from fog and cleans it for use.
They hope it can help people in foggy places, trekking camps and eco-stays.
The third innovator is part of Team Somatrace.
Her team is making wearable sensors that watch how an athlete’s spine moves.
This could help athletes and coaches notice movements linked to injury risks.
The teams will attend a 10-day learning camp and compete for a place in the Top 20.
Four final teams will share ₹2 crore to help develop their inventions.
