Odisha CM scraps OCS attempts limit, announces free textbooks

Every year, India celebrates Independence Day, the day the country became free.

On this special day, the leader of Odisha, Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi, made some exciting announcements.

He said students can now try the government exam for important jobs as many times as they want, as long as they are young enough.

Before, people could only try six times.

He also said that students in Classes 9 and 10 will get free books, just like younger students already do.

The government will build 18 new colleges and four new universities in faraway places so more students can study.

He told farmers not to worry, because the system for selling rice will work the same as before.

He remembered India's freedom fighters, like Mahatma Gandhi and Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose, and thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

He hopes that by the year 2036, Odisha will be a rich and happy place, and by 2047, the whole country will be developed.

He asked the young people of Odisha to work hard and build a better future.
