Vijayawada to Host State Advocates’ Badminton Tournament
Vijayawada will hold a badminton tournament for lawyers on October 3 and 4, 2026.
Lawyers from different parts of Andhra Pradesh are expected to take part.
The event will happen at an indoor stadium in Patamata.
The Bezawada Bar Association is organising the tournament.
Its representatives met Minister Mandipalli Ram Prasad Reddy.
They told him about the event and its preparations.
They also invited him to attend.
The tournament is intended to support sports participation among advocates.
Vijayawada will host the Andhra Pradesh State-level Advocates’ Shuttle Badminton Tournament–2026 on October 3 and 4.
The two-day event will bring advocates from across Andhra Pradesh together for badminton competitions.
Matches will be held at Chennupati Ramakotaiah Municipal Corporation Indoor Stadium in Patamata.
Bezawada Bar Association representatives invited Transport and Sports Minister Mandipalli Ram Prasad Reddy to attend.
Association representatives briefed the Minister on the tournament and arrangements and asked him to encourage participants.
