Madhya Pradesh Cabinet Approves Bhopal Bypass, University Changes

The Madhya Pradesh Cabinet approved several decisions.

One decision is to build a large bypass road around western Bhopal.

The road will be 35.16 kilometres long and have four lanes.

It is expected to cost ₹3,225.51 crore.

Some underpasses are needed because the road passes through the Ratapani Tiger Reserve area.

The Cabinet also appointed retired police officer A Sai Manohar as an adviser to the Chief Minister’s Office.

A technical university was split into three separate universities with new names.

The government also agreed to buy more summer moong from farmers.
