Kuppam Man Missing in Nepal After Flash Floods

Balasubrahmanyam from Kuppam travelled to Nepal with a group associated with the Isha Foundation.

His family says they have not been able to contact him since August 26.

The area was affected by flash floods that damaged communications.

His phone is also not working.

He had last spoken to his family on Tuesday morning and said everything was fine.

The family later heard that the group was near the Gyirong Immigration Centre.

Indian officials, Nepalese authorities and rescue teams are trying to locate and help people in the flooded region.
