Seven Andhra Pradesh Residents Remain Untraced Amid Nepal Floods
Floods in Nepal stranded people from Andhra Pradesh who were visiting the region.
Officials found and contacted 34 of the 41 people they were tracking.
They still do not know where seven people are.
Many of the travellers were on a pilgrimage to Mansarovar.

One missing traveller, V.S. Balasubrahmanyam, last spoke with his family before his phone stopped working.
The Andhra Pradesh government is working with Indian officials and diplomatic missions to find the missing people.
Travel is difficult because floods damaged or blocked roads and air connections.
A control room in New Delhi is helping families receive updates and organize assistance.
Officials said 41 Andhra Pradesh residents were stranded in Nepal, with 34 traced and safe and seven still unaccounted for.
Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu ordered intensified searches, continuous coordination and evacuation through alternative routes.
Several Mansarovar pilgrims were affected; four Kurnool-Adoni residents were safe in Tibet and 28 Tirupati-region pilgrims were safe in Kathmandu.
Tirupati MP M. Gurumurthy said 26 pilgrims who travelled through Sign In Travels were safe in Kathmandu, differing from the officials’ figure of 28.
A control room at AP Bhavan in New Delhi is coordinating with the Centre and Indian diplomatic missions as floods disrupt road and air links.
