Fever Has Settled But Weakness Remains: When to See Doctor
H1N1 or flu: Fever has settled but weakness remains? When to see a doctor · indianexpress.com

When you are sick with a fever, your body works hard to fight the germs.

Even after the fever goes away, your body can still feel very tired.

That is normal because your body needs time to get strong again.

You may feel better one day and very tired the next day.

Sometimes people go back to school or work too quickly, and that makes them feel worse.

This does not always mean the sickness came back.

But sometimes a person can catch a new sickness, even after getting better from the first one.

If you get a fever again, or have bad belly pain, trouble breathing, or feel very sleepy, you should see a doctor.

Doctors say to rest, eat well, drink plenty of fluids, and slowly get back to your usual activities.

If you feel much worse or are sick for a long time, ask a doctor for help.
