Local reports said Karim’s, Tung Fong and Don Giovanni’s faced major safety concerns, while Arsalan and Mocambo passed checks.
Across Bengal, officials visited 1,730 food establishments and found irregularities at 1,525; 901 food samples were collected.
Authorities sealed 13 restaurants, cancelled five licences and began punitive proceedings against 17 other establishments.
