Kuki-Zo Groups Renew Union Territory Demand in Delhi Meet
A meeting happened in Delhi between the Indian government, Kuki-Zo tribal groups, and Manipur officials.
The Kuki-Zo groups want their own special area called a Union Territory with its own government.
They say this is the only way to have peace after recent violence.
They believe the current government has been unfair to them and taken their land.
The government had previously said no to this idea, but the groups are still asking for it.
They also mentioned that the violence started because of unfair policies against tribal people.
Many tribal members are living in special camps right now.
