BTC Launches Five Road Projects in Chirang

The Bodoland Territorial Council (BTC), led by the Bodoland People's Front (BPF), started building five new roads in the Chirang district.

They spent Rs 6 crore on these roads, which are each over one kilometer long.

Four roads will cost Rs 1 crore each, and one special road, Dhaligaon–Gaujonpuri, will cost Rs 2 crore.

The BTC is working to keep their promises from the last election, like giving land rights, creating jobs, and helping senior citizens.

Many officials and local people were there to see the start of the project.
