BJP Prepares for Assam Assembly Polls
Amit Shah, the Union Home Minister, had a meeting with important BJP leaders in Guwahati to talk about the upcoming elections in Assam.
They discussed how to share seats with their allies and who should run for which seat.
One important seat they talked about is Sivasagar, which is currently held by Akhil Gogoi.
The BJP wants to win this seat back and is thinking about who to choose as their candidate.
There are many people who want to run for the BJP in Sivasagar, but some people are not happy with the choice of Kushal Duwori because of his past links with ULFA.

The BJP is strengthening its base in Sivasagar by enrolling new members and conducting outreach programs.
