Malayappa Swamy Processions Mark Fourth Brahmotsavam Day
Thousands of devotees went to Tirumala to watch a religious festival procession.
The festival is called Salakatla Brahmotsavams.
It was the fourth day of the celebration.
In the morning, Lord Malayappa Swamy was carried on a golden vehicle called the Kalpavriksha Vahanam.
Sridevi and Bhudevi accompanied him.
The deity was dressed in the Govula Gopanna style.
In the evening, he was carried on the Sarva Bhoopala Vahanam.
This evening procession showed the Lord’s supremacy over the guardians of the directions.
Religious leaders and officials also joined the festivities.
Thousands of devotees gathered in Tirumala to watch the processions on Friday.
Lord Malayappa Swamy, with Sridevi and Bhudevi, rode the golden Kalpavriksha Vahanam in the morning.
The deity appeared in Govula Gopanna alankaram during the Kalpavriksha procession.
In the evening, Lord Malayappa was taken out in Gajendra Moksha alankaram on the Sarva Bhoopala Vahanam.
The processions were attended by Tirumala pontiffs, TTD officials and senior security officers.
