Madras High Court allows NEET aspirant to upload minority certificate

A student wanted to study to become a doctor.

She filled out an application form for medical school.

The form asked if she wanted to apply under a special category for Christian minority students.

She accidentally clicked 'No' instead of 'Yes.'

When she realized her mistake, she asked the admissions office to let her fix it.

The admissions office said the application period was over and that she should have checked her answers earlier.

She went to the Madras High Court to ask a judge for help.

The judge said the mistake was an honest one and allowed her to upload her certificate.

The judge also checked that no other student would be affected.

Now she can take part in the medical school selection process.
