Swachhathon-2026 Route Expanded Ahead of Gandhi Jayanti Event
Swachhathon-2026 is a marathon about keeping places clean and green.
It will happen on October 2, which is Gandhi Jayanti.
The event will begin the Vijayawada Utsav celebrations.
Runners will follow a new route through important places in Vijayawada.
These places include the Kanaka Durga Temple, Prakasam Barrage and Krishna River Bund.
People can join the Half Marathon, 10K or 5K races.
Every runner will receive a medal and a small plant.
Organisers say more than 8,000 people have already registered.
