The chapter was launched in Vijayawada on Thursday.

Kommareddy Pattabhi Ram formally opened it.

Chefs and hospitality professionals attended the event.

The group wants to protect traditional Telugu food and cooking knowledge.

It will help chefs learn new skills and share ideas.

It will also encourage research and mentoring.

CATA hopes to introduce Andhra cuisine to more people in India and around the world.

The organization began in 2009 as Hands in Hospitality.
