Telangana CEO Reviews Special Intensive Voter Roll Revision
Telangana’s top election officer checked how voter lists are being updated.
This work is called a special intensive revision, or SIR.
Officials are checking documents and forms from voters.
They must add people who are eligible to vote.
They must also remove people who have died or permanently moved away.
The officer asked them to fix mistakes in names, ages and addresses.

Chief Electoral Officer C. Sudarshan Reddy inspected the SIR process in Adilabad and Nirmal.
He directed officials to include all eligible voters in the final electoral roll.
Officials were told to remove names of deceased or permanently relocated voters according to rules.
The CEO reviewed applications, survey forms, voter lists and documents collected by booth-level officers.
He urged officials to correct voter details and enroll young people who have turned 18.
