A brand-new electric car called the Kia Syros EV was shown to people for the first time in Tirupati on Friday.

It was revealed at a Kia car showroom called Hoshi Auto Private Limited.

The car runs only on electricity, so it does not use petrol or diesel.

It comes in two versions with different battery sizes.

The smaller battery lets the car travel up to 443 kilometres on one charge.

The bigger battery lets it travel up to 526 kilometres.

Charging the battery from 10% to 80% takes only 39 minutes.

Inside, there is a huge 30-inch screen, smart safety features that help the driver, and internet-connected technology.

Kia also promises the battery will last for the car's whole life and lets customers rent the battery instead of buying it.
